Introduction
Since the spring of 2004 we have done a variety of things. As of October 1 participants have donated over $900 to the Dime-A-Gallon fund. We have also had three meetings to discuss what to do with the money we have collected and what else we can do to encourage participation in our project. In addition, we have given a presentation at Vine Street Berkeley Friends Meeting and at the Pacific Yearly Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends. We have also designed a Dime-A-Gallon button that many members wear to meeting on Sunday. We also have purchased a toy dinosour bank that we put on a side table at meeting for donations.

Fluorescent Light Bulbs
With about $350 of the fund we have purchased many packages of flourescent light bulbs. At Sunday morning worship we encourage attendees to take some bulbs and replace regular bulbs with the new energy efficient bulbs.

Transportation
Many more people are bicycling and walking to meeting since we began our project. Here are some images of people with their bicycles. In addition, many people are carpooling to meetings instead of driving their own car. More than 5 members have purchased hybrid cars (Toyotta Prius and Honda Civic Hybrid).

Airplane Travel
One of the surprising outcomes from our survey is that we have found that for many members their airplane travel is the largest part of their fossil fuel usage.
Solar Power Panels
Several members of meeting have installed solar panels on their homes.
