Introduction

We have developed a worksheet to calculate our usage of fossil fuels in terms of equivalent gallons of gasoline. This calulation is meant to be a rough approximation that is easy to use. There are three ways to use the worksheet. First you can download the worksheet and then fill in the numbers. You can also use the on-line version which will calculate the values for you. Thirdly, you can join our project and then we will store your values along with other participants so we can follow our total fossil fuel consumption as a function of time.
